Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi required a sound reinforcement system for the indoor venue and the outdoor areas, something Venutech is more than equipped to handle. Key insights in this case study include delivery of A Full PA system from column speakers to microphones by Active Audio & Sennheiser respectively and In-house acoustic design and EASE study for optimal Db and sound distribution. This project won the 'Innovate House of Worship Award' for best audio installation in the world at the 2018 INAVATION AWARDS
Conference System at University Lecture Hall

The lecture hall is equipped with 500 sets of RX-2300 series of Restmoment all-digital multi-function conference system and 1005 sets of RX-6810 series armrest conference system. Full digital audio processing and transmission technology, point-to-point access, long-distance transmission sound quality will not be attenuated. The RX-6810 embedded conference system is a high-end system that integrates the discussion, video tracking, and armrest installation methods which are developed by modern advanced conferences.

Restaurant Audio Fitout

Bab Al-Bahr Restaurant, a luxurious Lebanese restaurant inside Tehran’s Bam Land mall, is now home to an FBT sound system for audio reinforcement both inside and out. A total of 14 Shadow 105Ts were integrated in two interior and exterior halls, drawing power from Powersoft Quattrocanali 1204 amplifiers. Additionally, for the restaurant’s entrance, PL60 cabinets from RCF were deployed. The entire system is controlled via an RCF M18 digital mixer.
Projection Mapping

The company embarked on a huge projection mapping project with LaserVision Mega Media. Lucid teamed up with the goal of projecting onto two sides of the 40-storey, all-glass Samba Bank building in the new King Abdullah Financial District, Riyadh. The glass façade meant that a huge amount of projection horsepower was required, a total of 60 Panasonic 21k projectors gave incredible brightness and clarity. This was a celebration of the 89th Saudi National Day, the building was lit for 5 nights and the 7000 square meter projection could be seen for miles.

Luxor Live is a funky music and performance venue in central Arnhem, the Netherlands with a colourful history that started in 1915 when it was opened as a film theatre. In 2018, a serious investment in Robe moving lights saw 12 x Spiiders, 12 x DL4X Spots, 8 x LEDBeam 150s and 4 x DL4F Fresnels join the lighting rig to help ensure that the 300-plus shows staged there every year can benefit from top quality LED moving lights.

Concert Staging

The LITEC Alusfera 76 II roof was selected to serve as the main stage for one of the most unique concert beach events - the “Summer Beach Arena”. The 21.5m (W) x 13.4m (D) x 10.3m (H) Alusfera 76 II roof served as an impressive backdrop for the performances and featured two 12 metre high towers for the main PA. The main truss used in the construction of the Alusfera II is LITEC’s one-of-a-kind LIBERA 76 truss. Unlike standard box truss, LIBERA is a flat truss and was designed as an open structural system that uses standard modular elements connected together in ways that allow varied design and geometry of the finished structure.
Concert Rigging
Project by Area Four Industries
An extreme amount of lighting and sound equipment had to be hung in the centre of the elliptic building for PUR's concert. Unfortunately, venue did not have enough loading capacity to support the equipment needed for the concert. German rigging structure company Malecon was tasked with overcoming these limitations and turned to the new steel truss line from MILOS to help solve this problem. The resulting solution used MILOS 145REC S-RTW Steel Truss to create two 42m spans that were each rated for a total load of 9,000 kg. Additionally, the Area Four Industries Direct office delivered an intelligent support structure design to support the impressive octagon-shaped LED screen that would hang over the centre of the stage.

Opera House Lighting
Lighting solutions from Clay Paky
A year after opening its doors to the public, Dubai Opera upgraded its lighting rig with the purchase of 37 Claypaky A.leda B-Eye K10s. The fixtures are widely available to hire in the Middle East market, as will be the case with the NEW AXCOR PROFILE 600 and AXCOR PROFILE 400 Clay Paky will be launching at Prolight + Sound Middle East.
Rigging & Trussing at Dubai Opera
Solutions from Unusual Rigging & Engineering
The company was brought on board when the Mary Poppins tour took to the stage at the Dubai Opera House. The rigging and a new truss frame were supplied to carry the front of house scenery. They worked with the Production Manager to create a fake proscenium for the venue, supplied production riggers for load in and load out, and devised an ingenious scheme to fly Mary Poppins over the auditorium. Part of the project had the company design and fabricate a landing platform, suspended between two lighting bridges in order for Mary Poppins to land.

Even2 did the entire structural calculation and installation of four 9m high truss towers on stadium roofs to the existing adapter plates for the Skycam, as well as the supply of all the equipment. Locations: Al Maktoum Stadium, Dubai, UAE; Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain, UAE; Zayed Sport City, Abu Dhabi, UAE; Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The company supplied the Lighting, Video and Artist support Rigging as well as show support riggers. Working in a 48m apex Al Laith Structure, Even2 did the necessary static calculations and supplied a head rigger as well as a full rigging crew of 12 up and down-riggers. Starting with lighting trusses and video rigging the team also did the performer rigging. Even2 supplied for this project: 20nos. 1ton motors with 50m chain, 24nos. 1ton motors with 24m length, 200m tower beam, 100m MT-Truss.

TECS supplied the whole automation, performer flying and generic rigging solutions with load calculations & CAD drawings for the project. Working closely with an all star local & international crew of designers, producers, choreographers, staging, lighting, audio, scenery and everyone in between. TECS provided 2 x 2D high speed flying systems for the “Mascots”, automated eZ-Trolley® traverse system with sub mounted eZ-Hoist® (performer flying winch), eZ Trolley® traverse systems for the proscenium arch doors (1500kg each), movecat VMK-S 500/24 rigged for performer flying - vertical ascent/descent, PA towers for satellite audio systems, 500kg + 1000kg Liftket hoists & control, and 30cm, 40cm and 52cm Interal + Litec box truss.

Project by ROE Visual
An immersive indoor light and water display featuring a stunning 25-meter-long, 8K resolution crescent-shaped video screen based on Black Onyx LED panels by ROE Visual. The Black Onyx BO3 range was the only product that stacked up to all of the project requirements. The total screen measures 56 panels wide and max. 10 panels high. The total installation runs on two ROE Visual Z6 4K processors. Next to the screen, the ROE Strip was used to highlight the curved ceiling panels and walls.
