The countdown has begun – preparations are in full swing and the suspense is mounting. Automechanika Frankfurt Digital Plus starts on 14 September 2021. In addition to product innovations, the spotlight will be on the fascinating topics and trends that are impacting the automotive aftermarket. There will also be a wide-ranging supporting programme.
Approx. 50 percent of the around 300 companies that have already registered are planning on getting together in Frankfurt in person once again. There has also been significant interest from companies outside of Germany: the event is welcoming exhibitors not only from Germany, but also from many countries throughout Europe, as well as from Asia and even Australia. A recent survey conducted by Messe Frankfurt highlights just how important and relevant our customers consider in-person business encounters to be: 97 percent of the 59,000 companies surveyed want to continue participating in trade fairs. Go to the article

| 3D Printing |
Industrial 3D printing offers tremendous potential for various fields of production – but determining how to integrate this technology into existing production chains in a way that delivers tangible benefits poses a difficult challenge for many companies. On 16 September, the ‘Discover3Dprinting’ seminar will offer a comprehensive look at additive manufacturing methods, presenting exciting application examples from various fields in the automotive industry. Participants will also discover the barriers that must be overcome when introducing these technologies and the places these barriers are encountered, as well as the applications for which industrial 3D printing is still not economically feasible.

| Trainings for workshops |
This year there will once again be live accident repair demonstrations – moderated by Autodoktoren. Over the course of three days, they will be addressing topics such as car damage assessments following an accident, damage cost calculation and digital communication, professionally trained persons – new DGUV Information 209-093, removing exterior dents, combined joining techniques, windshield repair and replacement, exhaust measurement (PN) for diesel-powered vehicles, digitalisation and paintwork, the calibration of driver assistance systems and headlight beam alignment. Anyone who registers in advance online at www.automechanika.com/eventcalendar for an event or workshop will receive a free ticket – to visit the trade fair in person or view the live stream online!

To ensure the safety of everyone involved and comply with the maximum number of persons permitted, tickets for this year's event will only be available online and for a specific date. You can also convert vouchers into valid tickets in the ticket shop. Good to know: not only does each single-day ticket entitle you to visit Automechanika Frankfurt Digital Plus and Hypermotion in Frankfurt on the day specified, but it also grants you access to the online platform on all three days of the event, so you can join on air the entire programme in the live stream.

Travel from outside Germany permitted
|
Trade fair participants from outside Germany are generally allowed to travel to the event, because travel for the purpose of trade fair participation is considered to be essential business travel. Detailed information on entering the country to participate in German trade fairs can be found on the website of AUMA – the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry.

A safe event with vaccinated, recovered or tested participants |
Vaccinated, recovered or tested: the health and safety of all exhibitors, visitors, speakers, journalists and everyone else involved in the event is extremely important to us. That is why all Automechanika Frankfurt 2021 participants must demonstrate that they are not infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and submit a self-declaration on their own health status (which you will receive with your ticket). Please bring proof of vaccination, recovery or a current negative test result with you when you enter the event. Alternatively, you can take advantage of a rapid antigen test provided by Messe Frankfurt on site free of charge.
