Dear Sir or Madam,
Together with representatives of the European policy, industry and science, we will discuss the future of the New Legislative Framework on 6 November 2018 in Brussels.
As one of the main pillars of the European Single Market for products, the New Legislative Framework ensures safe products, fast market access, swift innovation and international competitiveness. However, new legal hurdles and parallel structures put the New Legislative Framework and thereby the Single Market at risk.
Thus BDI, in cooperation with the German industry associations VDMA and ZVEI, as well as the Austrian associations FMTI and FEEI, would like to raise awareness for the New Legislative Framework among political decision-makers. The European network of our associations provides an excellent opportunity to discuss the application and further development of the New Legislative Framework with the European Commission and Parliament.
